The DLC should be shown as a place you can visit with a Golden tint: Such as the The Stone Prisoner, etc. More info listed here. To clarify, the DLC can be played side by side with the original Dragon Age: Origins. The Awakening expansion pack must be played separately as those events take place after origins.
Dragon Age: Awakening: $39.99 Return to Ostagar: $4.99 The Stone Prisoner: $14.99 Warden's Keep: $6.99 List is current as of March 5, 2011. What you do with alistair affect his cameo in DA2. Siding with behlen/harrowmont also gives you a side quest in DA2, lelianna and zevran can also make an appearance too, and yuo get extra dialogue between isabela/zevran or isabela/alistair dependng what happens at the pearl
Stone Prisoner is good to play during the game (it's integrated and adds a new party member). The other in-game DLC are Warden's Keep and Return to Ostagar - you can play those anytime, and mostly what you get is a sidestory and a few powerful items (so, towards the start or end, depending on where you like those sorts of things).
I recently purchased Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition for my PC. I've installed it, and went to start a new game. When I do, I get a message stating "Until you log in with an account that has previously purchased the following content, it will not appear in your game. Please cancel, then lo
The DLC's are described as side campaigns that transfer your earnings to your Origins or Awakening campaign. Well, in Origins, i am at the final Dragon boss - but he's kicking my butt. So EA has a half-off sale, so i get a few things like Witch Hunt, Golems, Leliana's song, and even Awakening. I decided to play
QTj9. An Awakening file can go into Golems and Witch Hunt but not Origins. A Golems file can only be imported into With Hunt and Witch Hunt can not be imported into anything (well DA2 but that is not out yet). So to do everything on one character you have to play Origins, Awakening, Golems then Witch Hunt in that order. Yes, it is a truly awful system.
Dragon Age: Origins Leliana's Song DLC. This DLC focuses on Leliana's story before the actual events of Dragon Age: Origins. This is a standalone DLC and can be played at anytime you wish. Party
I am sure you have forgotten all about this post by now. However, I wanted to thank you for updating you original post with the solution. This was one of the first suggestions on google for this fix. More specifically the second result when typing in 'dragon age steam dlc'. This made fixing my issue very quick and I greatly appreciate it.
DA:O is in a weird place. It's still madly popular for a game that's like a decade and a half old, especially with the hype for the next installment starting to spool up.
Yeah I think Bioware in general didn't really start supporting gamepads on PC until Dragon Age Inquisition. DA 1 and 2 didn't have gamepad support, and neither did the entire Mass Effect trilogy (until Legendary Edition). I always thought that was kind of weird considering there were console releases of all those games.
