There seem to be a ton of posts about this, but my Dragon Age Origins DLC are not downloading from the in game client. I have tried installing them onto a fresh install of DAO, as well as a 1.05 patch and neither work. I am running the disc based version of DAO, not the ultimate edition steam version. [Side Note: I was also able to do this for Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age: Awakening, and Mass Effect 1 & 2] This will add your Steam purchased copy of Dragon Age II to your Origin account, and any DLC that you have attached to your EA/Bioware account should install. Started playing the game a few days ago and since I want to play "offline" too, I had to look into this. Short answer: No. Findings: The game *requires* a running "EA app" before the game starts. In case the steam app is online the steam account is coupled with the "EA account". So a game start with steam "online" will load the "EA app" and EA's tech support staff have been dreadful - one guy seriously suggested that I needed to buy EA's Play pass to get access to the DLC. What a mess. All I can suggest is keep pestering EA's chat help service guys until they elevate the issue and cross your fingers and toes. Dragons darken the sky, casting a shadow over lands on the brink of chaos. Mages break into all-out war against the oppressive templars. Nations rise against one another. It falls to you and your allies to restore order as you lead the Inquisition and hunt down the agents of chaos. Explore, lead, and battle: Tough choices define your experience For example, the DA II DLC listed on your entitlements page saying simply "More info" don't need downloading or installing. The ones that have "More info - PC" and "More info - Mac" do need downloading. So looking at my own page (I have all DLC for both games) there are only 5 items that do need downloading (excluding paid for DLC): The Deep Green jnx3Ti. Cerberus Weapon and Armor. Normandy Crash Site. Cerberus Arc Projector. There are actually more free DLC for this which can be obtained via the Origin client for PC or via the in-game menu on the Xbox (not sure about PlayStation 3). They are: Recon Hood. Sentry Interface. Umbra Visor. Blood Dragon Armor. inside each archive, i navigate inside the $_2_ folder, to see the addins folder inside; then i manually unzipped each and every addins folder into program files/origin games/dragon age 2, allowing it to overwrite all the pre-existing files. I own Dragon Age 2 through steam - just the base game, no paid DLCs. I was able to download all the promotional DLCs through the Origin client that launches from Steam when I open then game, except for The Black Emporium. Instead of there being a button to install the DLC like with the others, there Just trying to make sure because It seems on origin dragon age 2 is not "ultimate edition" - did steam recently bring DA2 ultimate edition? Also if da2 ultimate edition includes all the dlc for 7.50$, then why is the "DLC upgrade pack" 2 dollars more? Ultimate should include all DLC to date. Can't download with EA Play??? Unfortunately it does not come with the DLC, it’s base game only for EA Play subscribers. Only EA Play Pro available on PC Origin will give you the best version of the game which includes all DLC.
